Globalization of e-business infrastructure & Localization website content for a major Government Department

This major Federal Government Department with Missions around the world, the department provides both business and government services for other nationals.

b. The Engagement
Under the contract, the client engaged WebViews to review their  interactive e-business and service delivery site, provide infrastructure globalization and e-business and web site content localization services. In addition there was a requirement for keeping  the foreign language localized sites in synch with their source site.

• Investigated and analyzed e-business and web site environment and
technology
• Using WebViews Technology down loaded customer source site to WebViews environment
• Performed integrity and operability tests on source site and resolved the problems
• Using WebViews ILP™ Technology built the destination language web sites in German, Spanish, Chinese and Portuguese. This included HTML, ASP, JSP and Data base records. The site in addition included PPT, Excel and PDF document and MS SQL database Records.
• Performed integrity and operability tests on localized destination web site
• Performed Internal Quality Assurance and received customer comments and approval
• Published the site and posted the destination websites.
• Established a change management, site Monitoring and synchronization process.
• Hosted the destination sites and kept them in synch on ongoing basis.
