Ken
has worked for nearly 30 years in the Banking and Banking IT industries.
He began his career as a Retail Banker with Barclays Bank in the
UK in 1973 and during the following 10 years worked in various
roles at branches of the Bank in London and Monaco. In 1983 he
joined BIS Banking Systems, the developer and supplier of the
world’s leading Wholesale Back Office Banking system, Midas.
He worked for the next 12 years from BIS offices in London (4
years), New York (5 years) and Bahrain (3 years) in various roles,
including Project Management, Operations, Account Management and
Sales Support.
In
1995 he joined a start-up Banking IT company, Synectics, as Sales
and Marketing Director, working out of Dubai. His responsibilities
at Synectics included the launch of the Quaestor Retail Banking
System, project management of the first Quaestor implementation
and support of the Quaestor distributors, including Logica, a
FTSE-100 UK company.
