Localization
services enable G&L subscribers to define and develop the
new location-specific content or components for sites targeted
at particular countries, regions or cities. Using components from
source or any of the multi-lingual sites, subscribers can select
different backgrounds, contents and graphics for a variety of
multi-lingual Web pages - or add specially designed local content.
Subscribers can also use these unique capabilities for targeted advertisements
or banners tailored to specific markets and languages. The Localization
Services enable WebViews clients to readily present a "local"
image to different target markets worldwide, while operating from
one central location and using the same basic information and
content.
The local components can be related to different parts of the content
including text, graphics, links or scripts. It can also be related
to local currency, date presentation, or delivery or collection
mechanisms.
